New Products!!

In an effort to get the most for our money, I talked to the humanitarian leader in our ward to find out the best place to purchase items for our monthly goals. She told me of a place in Provo that gives discounts on certain items that can go in the humanitarian kits. Combs for $0.11! WOW!! Tooth brushes for $0.16!! I was very excited about this find. The downside, however, is that some of the items are not as quality as we'd like. Wendy Top, our ward humanitarian leader, said that the humanitarian center would rather have quality over quantity. So, I will continue to shop around until I find the best bargain on hand towels. I was really excited because they have the school bags that we have been talking about for a future project. Only $0.92!! I don't think we could get the material that cheap. Plus . . . no sewing!! :) Anyway, have a great day, AMY . . . since I think that, so far, you are the only one that reads this. :)

Happy Serving!!

A Plan

In an effort to overcome the daily monotony and challenges of life, Nicole and I have decided that it's time to think outside of ourselves and go to work serving simply those in need. We're really excited about this and welcome any help, ideas, donations, questions, concerns, stories, words of encouragement, etc. We've decided that our first projects will be:

1- Full size quilts

and

2-Hygeine kits (50 of them)

So, off we go. Wish us luck, help us out and keep checking back for our progress!
